As such, these trailers fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 119, "New Pneumatic Tires-Other Than Passenger Cars."
Risk
A loss of tire pressure increases the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Dealers will inspect and replace the tires as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 12, 2024. Owners may contact Big Tex Trailer customer service at 1-800-594-5637.
