An internal component within the clutch assembly may fail, which in certain circumstances could allow the vehicle to move unexpectedly.
Risk
Unintended vehicle movement van increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy
DTNA will notify owners, and dealers will update the software and replace the clutches, free of charge. DTNA issued owners an interim notification on December 7, 2020.
