Issue: On a small number of trucks, the trailer brakes may release too slowly when the brake pedal is released. Canadian regulations require trailer brakes to release within a certain time. Safety Risk: In certain situations, trailer brakes that release too slowly could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: PACCAR will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to replace specific fittings and hoses in the air brake system.
