Issue: On certain trucks, the driveshaft could break while driving and cause a sudden loss of power to the wheels. The driveshaft could also separate from the vehicle. Safety Risk: A loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. Additionally, a driveshaft that separates from a vehicle could create a hazard for other road users and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Navistar will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your truck to a dealership to replace the driveshaft.
